I just realized today, I haven't updated my journal in over a month! So, it's about time.

I now own two grey mares! Surprised? So am I haha

Her name is Miss Mo (plus something in Dutch afterwards, but I don't remember it). I don't like her name, but not changing it, as it's expensive as far as I know, as she's registered in the English stud book or something like that. I was told she has pretty good bloodlines (and not by her owner in Belgium, but by the owner of the yard I have her stabled at). I'm no good with such things, so have no clue. As soon as I get her breeding papers I'll do a bit of research though.

She's 8 years old, and comes from Belgium (the sire is English, hence her being in England's stud book). She's about 16.2hh, just a bit bigger than Prelude.

She's been competing at 125cm in Belgium, and one of the guys at the yard took her to a show a couple of days after she arrived in England, and their team ended up 2nd after she went double clear in the 125cm class (so i guess around 130 in the jump off?). My trainer believes that as she is right now, she can easily do 140cm courses, and probably more

Im planning on starting at 110cm with her to get used to her, and gradually move up.

As well as being an awesome jumper, she is the sweetest thing ever. Loves attention, and if you stand outside of her stable, she'll stick her head out and rest it on your shoulder. Very calm mare too, doesn't seem to spook at much.

What do you guys think?

Also, 2 more weeks til I start school at Millfield. Im both really really excited and impatient to go, and very nervous and scared about going haha
One thing's for sure, Im going to miss everyone here in Cyprus so so so much!

Sorry I've been neglecting dA so much. I've been traveling, horse shopping (as you now know) and I just haven't had the time. Haven't taken many photos either, for once! Usually I have to delete a bunch of stuff from my memory stick whenever I travel to take everything I like home :/
